We are dismayed and disgusted with the cycle of discrimination and social injustice. We stand with the Black community and commit to persistent efforts that we believe can better our firm, our portfolio and our communities. Black lives matter and helping the underserved is our communal duty.

We believe innovation requires systematic promotion of inclusion, a diverse set of thoughts and backgrounds and community enhancement—ranging from job creation to more accessible education and resources to other areas where our own employees can put some of their unique skillsets to good communal use.
Our commitment to our communities & social justice:
- We are seeking opportunities to make a scalable and continued impact within the community.
- We are supporting community social justice initiatives with financial resources and employee commitment—including a donation matching program for SEP employee identified organizations and time off for our employees to participate directly in volunteer efforts.
- We’ve asked our employees, portfolio companies and key stakeholders to join us and offer ideas and help.
Social justice cannot and will not be a one-time discussion. This is a long-term commitment.
