Sumeru Story

We started Sumeru with the core belief that growth capital and Scaling Partnership would be a game changer for innovative enterprise technology companies with growth cultures. This category of companies—often founder-led and growing well organically—requires an active, creative, and flexible investor that will provide guidance and active partnership to manage the challenges of scaling.

We understand that innovative companies do not materialize out of thin air and that being a founder / CEO can be a solitary role. We built our team with an emphasis on solving scaling problems for our portfolio companies with people that know how to prioritize organic growth levers. Our senior leaders collaborate with you to apply deep technology investing and operating expertise to accelerate your business and overcome any obstacles it may face.

Sumeru has invested over $3 billion in more than fifty platform and add-on investments across enterprise and vertical SaaS, data analytics, education technology, infrastructure software and cybersecurity. Our team includes over 40 Sumeru colleagues that collaborate across our Silicon Valley and New York City offices.
