Today, we are proud to announce the promotions of Chris Litster to Managing Director and Pankti Shah to Chief Financial Officer. Both Chris and Pankti have made significant contributions to Sumeru and its portfolio companies — this recognition reflects the impact they’ve had and the leadership they continue to demonstrate.
Chris Litster
Chris joined Sumeru in 2023 and has been actively involved across several of the firm’s recent investments including JobNimbus and Cents. He currently serves on the boards of JobNimbus and Loopio. Chris previously served as the CEO of Buildium — a former Sumeru portfolio company — where he led the organization to a successful acquisition by RealPage in 2019. His background includes over 25 years of operating experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and held senior executive and board roles at companies including IBM, Constant Contact, WordStream, and RealPage.
Pankti Shah
Pankti joined Sumeru in 2021 and leads financial operations across Sumeru and its funds, overseeing fund accounting, LP reporting, and treasury functions. Since joining Sumeru as VP of Finance, she has excelled in scaling Sumeru’s back-office infrastructure and has been a key partner to the firm’s leadership as Sumeru has continued to grow.
