Chris joins Sumeru as a Growth Partner, where he will focus on new investments, Board roles and advising portfolio companies. Chris served as the CEO of Buildium–an exited Sumeru portfolio company–where he led the organization to a successful acquisition by RealPage in 2019. His background includes over 25 years of operating experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Customer Officer and various executive/board member roles at companies including IBM, Constant Contact, WordStream, and RealPage.
Ruben joins Sumeru as an Operating Partner, working primarily on revenue scaling initiatives, such as demand generation, brand development, product marketing, web and content, sales, and GTM strategy with portfolio companies. Ruben has over 20 years of operating experience as a Chief Marketing Officer, VP, and Senior Director of Marketing at companies including Qualcomm, Housecall Pro, Seismic, and Revalize.
